Program Description:

Foundations First is a program to assist community members in need with essential maintenance, repair, and preservation work on their homes.

Rooted in our commitment to safeguarding Jerome’s historic character, this program provides support for necessary home maintenance or those long-overdue upkeep projects that were on the list and just never got done. Be they structural repairs to weatherproofing, stabilization, and historically sensitive restoration. Whether it’s a crumbling porch, aging plumbing, or the need for a fresh coat of historically appropriate paint, Foundations First helps ensure that our town's legacy is not just preserved in public spaces, but lived in and cared for, one home at a time.

This initiative reflects the spirit of Jerome: resilient, neighborly, and proud of the past. By supporting homeowners in preserving their properties, we strengthen both the physical and social fabric that makes our hillside town so unique.
